Today we were treated to a fine 3 course meal prepared by Boris and Evelina. They planned the menu, they prepared the entire meal and served it. We were absolutely astonished not only at their zeal and dedication but also the actual planning and execution. They chopped and sliced, mixed, fried, boiled, strained and served a fine dinner and our first dinner prepared by the children. Absolutely amazing.
On the menu:
Starter: Peanuts and rye bread and Pellegrino
Salad: Fresh tomato and red pepper salad with tzatziki sauce
Main: Spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce with fried onion, garlic, fresh basil and a hint of mint and olive oil!
Dessert: Selection of ice cream, espresso with biscotti
Wine: a fine 10 year old Italian red wine from the cellar
Food was amazing, service equally as good, we can’t wait for more surprises like this. I guess they can do a lot more than we give them credit for, and we are quite happy about this.
