Conegliano is a small town and commune in the Veneto region, Italy, in the province of Treviso, about 30 kilometres north from Treviso. The population of the city is around 36,000 people. Conegliano is noted for its wine, mainly the dry white Prosecco (made from the grape of the same name) which comes in three varieties: tranquillo (still), frizzante (slightly sparkling) and spumante (sparkling).
