Perhaps one of the things that Boris and Evelina missed the most about Edmonton was their cousins. The greatest thing in their minds is the fact that our family lives close to us.  On a beautiful fall day with the sun shining and leaves blowing in the wind they got on their bikes and went to see their cousins on the other side of the neighbourhood.  I think they miss the independence they enjoyed in Nuremberg.  Going to the old town, hanging around the old town and going to shops and eating gelato was something they both enjoyed doing every day.  Even walking to school among the old buildings, the moat and the defence towers had its unforgettable charm. Still, a bit of freedom and family that is close by is a great benefit to them and to us as well.
