Earlier this week it was no flight for you!  Today an earthquake.  Technically, I think it was a tremor but since we never experienced one we are calling it an earthquake. Boris and Evelina were getting ready to go to the old town while we were sitting and relaxing like we do most of the days, when all of the sudden the entire building swayed back and forth 4 times.  Then a  few seconds later it did it again 2 more times – then all quiet.  It is the most strange and bizarre feeling when an entire block of connected stone houses sways.  We were rather perplexed and could not figure out what it was.  At first we  thought that perhaps there was  a metro accident or an explosion, but it was all quiet, no noise, no sirens – just silence.  It turns out that about 100 km from here near the Czech Republic in the city of Cheb there was a small quake which carried all the way down here.  How bizarre?!
