At first we were puzzled by what this line up was all about. Then we realized it was to the most beautiful A & F store located right on Champs-Élysées. That’s just crazy.
No we did not. Fortunately, we spent all of our money on food in Paris, and realized that nothing in that store would fit us. The 1 or 2 hour wait in the line up would appear to be far to taxing on us and would interfere with the planned snack break. 🙂
Henrik, I remember when you guys went but I thought the queues then were due to the recent opening. I was shocked that two or three years later people stood outside waiting to get in. They could’ve gone straight into Dior around the corner as far as I could tell. 😉
I was also surprised to see the picture of the line-up. It was just as long as I remembered it. We’re they also wearing headsets and waving in “special” customers? Find it slightly laughable.
This was the whole show, the headsets, the few people in at that time and an anxious crowd of potential buyers, but the staff at the gate was was all bundled up afraid of being exposed to the +12 or 14 C weather.
Did you go in? That was our first A&F experience ever! 🙂

Was bizarre experience for us. Perhaps mainly because we’d never gone before.
