After a lazy morning we went back to Garda to hang out by the lake. Feeding swans is now off of the bucket list. These swans do like the German and Italian bread, although the grey swan was kind of dumb and kept getting all of his food stolen by its sibling. Then is started to rain, then it poured and then it really opened up. We were lucky to find a nice dry table at one of the restaurants – inside where is was warm and cozy. At first we were jealous of all the people sitting under the marquise watching the rain. When the wind picked up and whipped up the marquise everyone sitting under it got soaked with gallons and gallons of rain water, as did their tables and their food. That was a sight to see, suddenly the inside of the restaurant was packed and no one was sitting outside watching the rain.
Next stop Verona, time for some retail therapy.
Now – was this in Garda town? I recognize the mountain. And yes – there’s TORRENTIAL downpours sometimes. Enjoy 🙂
Garda town indeed right by the weird maple trees. Torrential downpour is more like it.
