Galeries Lafayette is one of those crazy places that is: always busy, has wonderful displays and is not cheap.  It is the kind of place you go to  to find that perfect Dolce & Gabbana dress or coat or a suit for your 4 year old.  It is a place where everything is larger than life, where you can find just about anything for you, your spouse or your home.  There is something here for everyone and for every budget, it does however help if you money is attached to a large trust fund that is constantly being topped up by a few oil wells in the Middle East.  From €5000 wallets to €31,000 bottle of wine – Galeries Lafayette has it all.  To top it all off, from the viewing deck on the top of the store you can see the entire city of Paris or at least majority of it wonderful landmarks.
