Home Time

It is finally time to make the landing post and say goodbye to Iceland.  I have been home for a couple of weeks now buried in work.  Not the business work but house work.  There is a seemingly endless list of house chores that need doing, some due to what appears to be plain neglect, some wear and tear and some just plain malice or spite.  It seems that everywhere we look there is something to fix, something to replace, something hidden to be discovered. All things considered, we feel like we got back to a slum not our house, it will take some time to get all this sorted but at least we can say that we are happy to be back in our home, on our own terms.  Today we celebrated, with a touch of German posh-nosh – Hugo.  Hugo is equally at home here in Edmonton as it was in Nuremberg, we absolutely love it.  It is our new go to beverage when relaxing and reminiscing – after dealing with the mess at home.

I see you brought your antlers back, nice! Sorry to hear about your home. Can I have the recipe for that tasty looking drink you have there?

Yes the antlers came back safely sounded by bags and bags of LEGOs. You know if you were to visit sometime soon we could share this great drink.

Come hell or high water the antlers were coming back home. They look right at home here.

I got 4 more bottles of Prosecco today to see which one will be best for this treat.

So I have to buy some Prosecco for weekend, too. The weather is luckily still more suitable for Hugo than for grzane wino or bombardino.

I am going to miss the €2.50 Prosecco right from Treviso. The cheapest one here is $15.00. Criminal.
