I think today is the coldest day of the summer. It is about 14C and it has been raining steadily for the last 9 hours. Our family from Warsaw is here visiting us again. Because of the rain and the cold we are keeping our entertainment to the indoors. On the agenda, once again, is German National History Museum. We really like this place. Today we are spending more time in the Medieval Painting Gallery with a lot of paintings of disturbing and deformed looking people – some more interesting than others, but all of them just really disturbing but very colourful.
If you’re looking for heat, try Denmark. *Apparently* they’ve been having a major heat wave and haven’t had a day under 25 degrees since we left. It figures.
Yes we looked at your weather with envy. It seems the entire Central Europe is under this spell. But it is moving east and today is beautiful and sunny and ha!
Not *too* sad about it! as the weather here in Calgary & Edmonton has been glorious. Just saying – our neighbor has a key if you’re interested 😉
We will be there soon enough… for now we have two more days of sunshine here and then we are off on holidays as well.
