Merry Christmas – question: do you guys open presents Christmas Eve or morning in Poland (Polish tradition).
The tradition is to open the gifts on Christmas Eve after the big Christmas dinner which is what we do. It is the first Christmas for the kids without snow, I like it!
Okay – same tradition in Denmark. I had an idea that Poles waited until after midnight to open presents, but might be getting it mixed up in my head. We also don’t have snow and haven’t even had frost yet. Kids had a white Xmas 2 or 3 years ago. That’s enough. 😉
Close. What changes at midnight are the appetizers. We go from herring to ham while downing more vodka.. 🙂
