The Christmas Market is still in full swing with just as many people around the stalls as ever, so we avoid the main square like the plague. However, there are still some nice and quiet places around the old town where it’s nice and quiet and empty and serene. It is still quite warm, mostly around 5C to 8C, it’s is still green in places and while there is not as much sun as there is in Edmonton the green makes it easier to get through the grey of winter. Truth be told, no one has complained about the winter blues yet, it is hard to complain when there is always something new to go and see and do. Actually we have set out Christmas and New Years Eve plans and I think everyone is just sitting and waiting in anticipaton.
Beautiful pictures!!
I have to say that at this time of the year, the grass is greener here! It’s such a different experience from Canada.
I’m loving the Christmas market photos. I spy a nutcracker or two that I wish were in my collection. 🙂
You spy right, all hand made too, these people are crazy when it comes to wood carvings. Seems majority of the market is about wood carved ornaments.
