Museum of Communism

Introduction to Life 101 in the Communist Block.  We drag our children around these odd places to show them how we lived when we were their age.  No iPhones or iPads or laptops, no video games and no internet.  However, if you were lucky you could buy a block of chocolate once a month if you had a special coupon for it, unless of course one of your parents traded the chocolate for cigarettes.  These same government coupons applied to meat, sugar, butter, shoes, and just about everything you needed to live.  Different times.  Life was really simpler back then.  You either had food or you did not, everything else was secondary.  Let’s all give thanks to Uncle Lenin for his great ideas that caused so much unnecessary hardship to a lot of people.
