Natural History Museum – Treasures

There are a lot great exhibits and some real treasures.  There is a tooth which was found by the side of the road which gave birth to the study of dinosaurs, the first adult skull of a Neanderthal ever discovered, the first edition of the “On The Origin of Species” by Darvin, a dodo skeleton, a stuffed great auk, emerald the size of lime and gems the size of a fist.  Emperor penguin egg – is one of only three fresh eggs collected by Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s ill-fated expedition to Antarctica, Alfred Russel Wallace’s insects, Archaeopteryx fossil  – Archaeopteryx is the earliest known bird and this is the first one ever found. It is the most valuable fossil in the Museum’s collection. This is the type specimen of the species, the one to which all others are compared.  There are countless other treasures, and they are best left to be discovered if you ever go there.  This is a must see place, we highly recommend it.

Really great! I’m starting to work more (to earn more) and not to eat at all (not to spend too much).

Looks like an amazing place, can’t believe they rely on just donations to exist

All museum as are free here! Churches on the other hand want the first born, a pound of flesh and lots of money.
