First thing on our agenda today, after breakfast of course, is the weekend market. This small market is where locals come to get their fruits and vegetables, pastas, oils, spices and just about anything else you might need or want to eat – all fresh. We got some giant sweet peas and cherries the size of plums. You can also get fresh made juices and it seems that pomegranate and orange are two of the local favourites.
Was this “just” your local one or from Campo dei Fiori? 🙂
By our house they were selling shoes and bras this is as you well spotted Campo die Fiori
Nice! We strayed just around the corner from there and went down every morning for bread & cheese from the market. Glory, glory!
We had to take a bus here because there was no way in hell we were going to do our usual walk in +40C weather – there and back.
