It’s pit stop time. After a few hours of bad weather, we finally got some sunshine about 40km from the German border. We decided to stop for a little break and have some food. You might say that this really is just an average stop, on an average autobahn in the middle of Germany. Kind of like Sunterra but with more choice and easier on the wallet. Amazing things can happen when you don’t have Subway or TH or Arby’s lining the road with processed food. Still plenty of McDonalds along the way but this seemed far more reasonable.
Never seen a rest stop like this! Wow… Is this in Poland?
That would be Germany!
Clearly they’ve placed these out of the Danes’ way -_- I’d love to stop at a place like this. It’d be a point of interest!
Let me be more specific – this is in, the former, East Germany. When you guys get here we will find one for sure.
Excellent. I’m gonna need several hours I think due to all the food that needs to be tried.
Not so fast – there are even nicer places than this. We also found a great pizza place today and an amazing ice-cream shop.
Henrik, Tomek forgot to mention that he promptly got yelled at by Helga (purely just guessing at the name) for taking photos there.
