We wondered towards Piccadilly and took a shortcut across St. James’s Park where there seems to be hundreds of thousands of spring flowers and hundreds of birds of all shapes and sizes. Every year millions of Londoners and tourists visit St James’s Park, the oldest of the capital’s eight Royal Parks.
Glory glory. Those crocuses were coming up when we were there. Glad to see they made it 😉 so close to where we stayed! Wish we were there with you.
We wish you were here as well it would be fun, fun, fun. It is our second day here and we are well underway to surpass Albania’s national debt – I recon by tomorrow morning…
I wish I was there. Every time when I see picture with green grass and flowers I realized how much I missed it 🙁 In Edmonton still is a beautiful, sunny and COLD winter….brr…
Tomek – London *is* the most expensive city in the world apparently. Good luck! Also – if you cross the street by that park over by St James palace, there is a memorial for Canadian soldiers – very discreet, but nice. Very close to the traffic circle by Buckingham.
I have to say I am done try to convince myself that sunny and cold is better than green and cloudy. I prefer the green grass as well.
Perfect we will try to look it up. We are going back there tomorrow.
