Thanksgiving is great. Three days off, three days of eating and relaxing. It is great to be home for this one. While Christmas has its own charm, Thanksgiving is special. It is time to take pause and reflect, time to be thankful and appreciative. Time to spend with family, time to relax and appreciate everyone and everything in your life. We had a splendid dinner, in the splendid company of our close family. We played games with the kids, told stories and reminisced about the days gone by and had a bit more wine than was required – a truly enjoyable evening. At the end of it all we were also thankful to Monika – the designated driver who drove us home safe and sound. Despite the rocky start in the morning the day turned out rather well in the end.
My favorites are of Anna at the dinner table. LOVE IT. She’s *so* concentrated on the food! Cheers to that!
You know it! With you know who not at the table, it was an afternoon of peace, tranquility and calm, interrupted by a dish upon dish upon dish of constant food.
