It’s officially winter here.  There is still a bit of snow on the ground hiding in the shade, away from the sun.  I had to go out to see Volker today so I took the camera and the big lens  and started walking.  I went through the deep part of the castle moat to get a different perspective  on the castle and to see the  gardens which take a small part of the moat.    It’s very quiet and peaceful there; in the middle of the city but it feels like you are on a  deserted island.
